Diego Salvador Ríos seeks to find beauty in everyday life.
Ríos likes to collect records of places he encounters, noting the texture, smell, objects, sound, etc. He then incorporates these things into his works. They may seem unimpressive at first, but they have profound insight into human life.

The artist experiments with exhibition spaces to make us conscious of our sensitivities to material and spatial relationships. He tries to record and unfold memories that blur boundaries between individual and collective experiences and give life to the mundane.
During Art Week, he will present his exhibition “Vistas del Archivo Altavista” at Lodos gallery, which will reflect on social disobedience, his journey as a self-taught artist, and the links between archives, storytelling, and narratives.
Seeing Diego Salvador Ríos’s inspiring artwork is a sign that we have to find beauty in our everyday life.
